Guide Me By Your Hand Poem by Pamela O. Rucker

Guide Me By Your Hand

I was molded by your hands to live upon this earth
How special I must be to have been chosen from my birth
To live upon these lands in such perilous times
In me you found a purpose to help break the ties that bind
You're the only one who knows me from the inside out
And only you can fill my life with a song and shout
You are a mighty God that walked upon the seas
You are our loving Father who hears our every plea
Thank you for the mercy that you've shown to me
Without your love and grace I don't know where I'd be
Thank you for your kindness and filling my life with grace
Had it not been for your mercy I couldn't survive in this place
Lord continue to guide my steps upon this narrow path
Protect me from this world below and the fury that Satan hath
May I be a blessing in the lives of those whom I surround
Help me guide them to you dear Lord, to hear your voice, a beautiful sound
