Guide-Post Poem by Leopold Toporovski

Guide-Post

"My soul is dry with shriveled heart,
With cares of life and empty strife.
I see no glories in smiling Sun,
All with youth is now pass gone."
Open your heart and mind, O adult:
To thousand around you jewels of Beauty.
To rising sun, to twinkling stars,
To flowers in spring glory.
Rekindle that spark into flame of wonder.
Let awe become the light in your heart.
And, magic of joy in souls of children -
Will become in you a living part.
