Guilty As Charged Poem by Tony Adah

Guilty As Charged

The parcel of the
Promises that charged the campaign rallies
No one cares to unwrap
Status quo ante interminable,
Our friends
Have become our fiends
Our visions
And aspirations utterly violated.
There lies our government
Breathing in the
Absence of innocense
We won the elections
Now we lost the government.
