Guilty Dream Poem by Phil Soar

Guilty Dream

'Go silently', she said as I got dressed again,
'Don't wake the kids, they don't know that your here'
So I climbed out of the bed an through a window pane,
And snagged my pants a cut my ample rear.

I fell down on the lawn and hurt my pride a bit,
Then I remembered that I'd left my phone,
Except I'd been a fool and had been dreaming,
The window I'd leapt out of, was my own! .
