Gulliver Poem by Brian Taylor

Gulliver

His body’s wracked with fever
his mind enwrapped in thought.
His body one day will release him,
but by his mind he’s caught.

No sky above,
nor friendly earth beneath his feet.

Only the giants’ tower blocks
and concrete
to trap the heat.
