Guns And Phoenixes Poem by Tsunami HiroshiSu

Guns And Phoenixes

Grab your pencil
And bring it along for the ride
Journey to a world of stardust
And French pastries
Flowers grow in your wake
Rainbows blossom from your hair
Life glows in your hands
Music bubbles from your lips
Filling me up inside
Loving every minute of it
Seeing the future
But we mustn’t breathe a word
Cracking glow sticks
To wave in the night
LEDs lighting up our hair
Fairies riding on our shoulders
Fireworks made by Phoenixes
The sound of a gunshot
Phoenix falls to the earth
Fire gone from her soul
Life gone from her heart
Fluttering wings
The dying breath
Tearing apart this world
War and gunfire
But pen is mightier than sword
To battle
To save out world
To avenge out fallen comrade
The Phoenix
Wielding our pens and pencils
Vanquishing the evil
Upholding the good
The beautiful Phoenix
Eyes like sparks
Feathers in flame
But no more because of that fateful gunshot
