Gypsy Soul

I am a gypsy soul
I care not were I go
Were I lay my hat is home
I do whatever I want
I say what's on my mind
If I only had a home
I think not what will happen
I live for only today
I know not for tomorrow
There is no harm intended
I will not be suspended
set me free upon the wind
I love whomever I want
you can not tie me down
or my spirit will wither away
I'm different from all you'll meet
My mind it runs so deep
and I care not be alone

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
