Hacked Poem by H Seeking

Hacked

Rating: 4.5

I had been standing tall
Standing straight baring my all
When all of a sudden I realise
I have been hideously hacked
Well and truly tracked
This I could never visualise

My leaves separated
My barks apart
Someone has disintegrated
The jolly old apple cart
Someone curmudgeonly cruel
From times maliciously medieval

The insensitive logger
Has turned me to flubber
My crystal tree rings
No longer any joy brings
It only truly sings
When the cruel axe clings
