Had You Chosen Peace I Would Have Fed You Poem by Terence George Craddock

Had You Chosen Peace I Would Have Fed You

Rating: 5.0

I would have fed you loaves of bread enough to feed armies
armies of peace loving worshipping appreciating people
I would have knead dough lovingly with salt of my tears;

as blessing baked fresh loaves in large hot communal ovens
so we could gather honour; peace love prosperity blessings;
I would have warm crisp with rich yellow butter served loaves;

to melt in your mouths warm your hearts kiss loving eyes;
