Haiku 2 Poem by GOBINDA SAHOO

Haiku 2

(15)
A drop and gale-smooth
Bidding adieu to winter
To welcome summer.

(16)
Long wait to cherish
Somewhat new and innocent
To taste nectar-poison.

(17)
Feeding millions
Greening earth to fill with life
Waging against science.

(18)
Think to rest a while
Nothing lets one ecstatic
Till soul rests in peace.

(19)
Go, snatch an ounce peace
Summer’s horror, winter’s fright
All are but futile.

(20)
Cascading locks long
Vaulted over back and hip
Leading hippy’s life.

(21)
Seeking man’s mercy
On stage numerous roles
To meet appetite.
