Haiku For Quartet Poem by Morgan Michaels

A dark age, indeed,
censure of platitude
decried as attitude

A dark age, indeed,
censure of foolishness
acknowledged peevishness

A dark age, indeed,
censure of hubris
mistaken as bitterness

A dark age, for sure,
the censure of bathos
subject to censure
