Haiku Sequence No.1



The books on the
Shelves gather dust
But are other-worldly.

With my lavender
Candles alight
I read them and learn

The Secrets of
the Universe and
Relax after Hell,

or Anxiety
Came to pillage my life,
And tried to destroy

My breath and everything
Else and the globe within
My free soul and heart.
