Half Lucid Poem by Cheryl A. Caron

Half Lucid

One half lucid
One half walking in delusion
One half aware
One half believing the illusion

One half awake
One half still partially dreaming
One half at stake
One half deaf to all the screaming

One half clear
One half unable to even see
One half knows fear
One half doesn’t know it isn’t free

One half clinging
One half is barely holding on
One half bringing
One half that doesn’t belong

One half knowing
One half without any wisdom
One half will make it
One half will never see the Kingdom
