Hallelujah
Hallelujah
It wasn't obvious
the dove flew away
and i did pray
for the light to come in
still in the egg
i had to fight
for what is mine
to become
i broke out
of my home
and became
roofless
from the start
and i learned
to get by
and fly
why i
flew away
I had to touch
an angel's hair
to really now
that i was there......Hallelujah

Beautiful poem. Leonard Cohen is dead now, not in 2009, but his Hallelujah has become eternal Hymn now. He believed in the Lord, His Only Son and The Holy Ghost, amen. Beautiful Poem, MW. Thank you for sharing.
