Halloween Night Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Halloween Night

Halloween

The pumpkins orange
And ones with candles in it.
The lollipops and candies
Some with red twisted stripes on it.
The plastic baskets that look like pumpkins.
Their plastic handles that look so round.

I like Halloween so much.

The ghost and ghouls.
The vampires and spiders.
The ghastly paint of people's faces.
The grey and black masscarre.
The flitting bats and black wings too.

I don't like Halloween too much.
