Hanging’s A Gust Awhile Slimbo Poem by paul shannon

Hanging’s A Gust Awhile Slimbo

Rating: 2.5

why don’t you put some weight on?
i can’t see you,
sounds vaguely mysterious,
like standing in the shadows on a grassy knoll,

like the sound of feet.
very melodic
here in the chambers of dust,

where a trained flamenco dancer
playing chess
appears more full of beans.

and finally
you’re quite right to feel stepped on.
why don’t you put some weight on..
