Happiness

Our love-devoted togetherness
will be greatly tested, as we will be oceans apart,
but I faithfully believe in our unimaginable love
will grow even stronger. In all seriousness,
it will be more sweeter than a mixed-berry tart,
and our never-ending passion will soar above
the moon and stars - united by truthfulness -
both devoted and remained loyal since your depart.
Our souls stayed true like the snow-white dove
symbolic of peace. The enthusiastic joyfulness
that our love-pounding hearts will reign to thwart
our despair-infected selves submerging us in love,
for our fairytale love. Thus, ending our long-lasting sadness.
From the depths of my affectionate heart,
vowing that we will forever live in cheerfulness.

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me

If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
