Happy Anniversary Poem by Colin Coplin

Happy Anniversary

As days roll into years, one thing has remained unchanged
The love I found when I first saw you, has never disappeared
It grows stronger every year

You've made me the happiest man
You've made me the happiest man
Happy Anniversary, grow old with me

Some say our love was always meant to be,
Funny how chance played a part
You filled my life with meaning, and brought love to my heart

You've made me the happiest man
You've made me the happiest man
Happy Anniversary, grow old with me

We kissed at sunset, and at that moment, we locked in time
It was not in my ear you whispered, but into the fibres of my heart
Love's perfect start
It was not my lips you kissed, but the strings of my soul
At that moment, all loves sonnets became whole,
And so began, our love story without end

You've made me the happiest man
You've made me the happiest man
Happy Anniversary, grow old with me

And on this day, our anniversary
I recall, all the good times that we shared
And thank you for the joy, you have given me
Thank you for the joy, you have given me
Thank you, for the joy you've given me

How do you stop, the wind from blowing,
Our love is strong, it has no ending
Grow old with me, I'm so in love with you
True, I'm so in love with you

As days roll into years
One thing never changed
The love I found when I first saw you
Has grown stronger every year

You've made me the happiest man
You've made me the happiest man
Happy Anniversary, grow old with me
