Jaden you have turned 1
First time I held you in my arms, I could hear my heart beat fast
You are a precious gift bestowed to us from above.
My heart is always filled with so much bliss
When I hear you chortle, my pains and aches pass by

It’s lovely to cradle you to sleep every night with sweet lullabies
Splendid to watch your first move
Delightful to watch your first step
Impressive to watch your first tooth grow
It was simply awesome the first time you clinged on to me
Lovely to hold your soft tiny hands;
To look into your beautiful wandering eyes
Charming is your flawless face that brings the feel of purity.

On this wonderful day last year
A star of pure love I gave birth to
My gift, my confidence, my future that is you
My prayer for you is to shine in life
Be a blessing to those around you
Like Samuel; Reflecting God’s love

My oh, my! how the first year flew by!
You learned to crawl, sit and stand
Now you are learning to walk by holding my hands
The fun has just begun, it’s hard to believe
You are turning one!
