Happy Birthday To My Heroes Poem by Hebert Logerie

Happy birthday to the great Men and Women,
Who are now residing in a better place.
Happy birthday to the Heroes, without a face,
Who have carved and shaped my brain.
Happy birthday to my good and bad teachers.
Believe me, you've taught me a lot over the years.
God gave me the courage to forgive
And the strength to go on, to leave
The negative feelings behind, in the past.
The clock is ticking; time is moving fast.
I am also moving forward in the right direction.
I want to offer an eternal standing ovation
To all of my Heroes and to my brave Ancestors,
Who've put and helped me on the escalators
Of life. Thank you for the fire in my veins, for the inspiration,
Thank you for the lavish and thoughtful preparation.
Thank you for the sacrifices. Thank you for everything.
I can feel all of you, just like I can hear the birds singing.
