Happy Birthday Mom

You’re the Jewel in my crown,
you’re a swan,
beautiful & strong.

Still young enough to be a sister,
you’re the quiet strength
I ‘m so proud of.

Through tragedy
& tremendous struggles
you still find happiness.

You find a reason to smile,
& by example
you are my hero.

I love you mom,
& I’m a lucky woman
to have someone
like you as a mother.
