Thank God for this happy ending
Beacuse now I don't have to keep spending
All my time dreaming and thinking about you
Because I think we are finally through

We had our fun, and I'll miss the most
How we held each other so very close
But I'm happy it's over because I can finally move on
And stop singing to same old tired-out love song

Your kiss was perfect, and your romance was sweet
Your one of those guys that just make my heart leep
Your a great guy and I'll love you forever
But I know that we can never be again, never....

I think I needed this to help me get over you
Because with your love you just keep shineing through
But now it's over, and it's the end
And I hope now that I can call you my friend
