Happy Father's Day,2016, Dear Daddy! Poem by Dr John Celes

All children need a daddy good-
Pillar of strength and rock that stood;
His role in raising family was
A special one, where he was boss.

The toil he put was very great;
His wisdom, none could match till date;
His anger came but for our sake;
In distress times, he stayed awake!

He loved all children, wife alike;
Injustice, lies, he would dislike;
He warned us taking wrong a track;
He faced the storms in life by knack.

A simple, honest man was dad;
When children won, he looked so glad;
His sound advice was ignored much;
He had the calm and soothing touch.

God made the man to sweat from brow;
To God, he used to always bow;
He stays by us in every race;
Ignored are dads, these modern days.

The value of a dad isn't felt,
Because of ways in which he dealt;
All cry and miss him when he dies;
Then all remember his advice!

Happy Father's Day, dear dad;
Your loss will always make us sad!
Dedicated most lovingly to my dearest dad
