We could be far away today;
Let friendship always linger, stay;
Let not the bond break, come what may;
Friendship has advantages, aye!

Friendship doesn't come to everyone;
God permits friends in life, a few;
Friendship makes life worth living, fun;
To be your friend, I turn like you.

Friendship is worth its weight in gold;
At times, we change a bit selfish;
Togetherness is one we hold
In great esteem, as life’s fond wish.
