Yesterday I was waiting to start a new year
So I opened my eye to find her near

Shoulder to shoulder we were praying
Asking God to keep that love which is staying

Just feeling her beside me, I felt I am blessed
She was so beautiful, so I couldn’t see the rest

She looked into my eye and said “I love you”
With a funny tone, cause she had flu

I wanted to take her in my arm
Cause her love made me feel so warm
