Harriet Is My Juliet, I Am Her Romeo Yet! Poem by Harindhar Reddy

Harriet Is My Juliet, I Am Her Romeo Yet!

Rating: 4.5

1) Lights on - Pacific and Atlantic! Oh in mood frantic, I
just called up her smile - stars romantic shy,
Saint Elmo's fire diffused in my heart - melodramatic,
In milk put pencil, it became strong, hurrahed Tintu, tic-tic!
Lights off! For you wait I, in the rain love mushroomed
Jim-jams - mind her read I never, her Sorrow Zoomed
Harriet is my Juliet, I am her Romeo yet!
Cradle-rocks, Riddle-shocks, do cock-a-doodle-doo!

2) When I am brain-sick with work - hectic,
I just summoned your name - cabalistic!
Filled my soul with meadowlark's music cryptic, tee-hee!
Jack and Jill went to the hill, Jack fell, cried, Santa hillbilly
U-turn - She me told - love you man, who is he, asked I, silly
Stream filled, rivers of bloods flowed in horror, Shrieked she,

3) Phew-whew! Love springs a delightful smile on one's face,
ugh! Love brings a baleful tale for human race;
Love is a cradle - Shangri-La yet a riddle or a gorilla!
Sardar's hat vanished in Sorcar's Show - fell on his feet, omigod!
Rat-tat-tat - hate to hate, slap to slap, A-Z she loved me.
Split personality Remo is dead, old friend came alive, tee-hee!
Harriet is my Juliet, I am her Romeo yet!
Cradle-rocks, Riddle-shocks, do cock-a-doodle-doo!
