Hating And Greeting Poem by Ponniah Ganeshan

Hating And Greeting

Rating: 5.0

You may hate me or greet me
Yet, hating and greeting have now
Become one and same to me, my friend!
I might be hated by you for something
And you might hated me for any other thing
I might greet or hate you
Hating and greeting may seem different to one
Another
Yet, they are nothing but one
When I heard a voice within me
‘There is a pleasure of being hated by all'

It is something like Upeksha according to Buddhist teachings, may be in Hinduism it uses the same name or a little different one. We live in a plus and minus world, when both together there will be the perfection, just like the harmony of god and the satan. Brahma and shiva combination with the protectors role of Krishna is also the same. Nicely penned, thought provoking poem. Thank you for sharing.

Dear Palitha, Thank you for your comment on my poems. We live in the world made of Yes and 'No' and the haphappiness depends on how to look at things
