Have The Guts To Go All Out: Part 2 Poem by Paula Glynn

Have The Guts To Go All Out: Part 2

Be brave and go to a fancy restaurant,
And buy the most expensive,
Meal on the menu,
As you ignore stares,
And know you're the coolest thing,
Since sliced bread.

Go to a cafe on a sunny day,
And watch the people,
Pass by on their journey,
As you relax and drink coffee,
Whether you're in Paris,
Spain or good old London.

Go Tenpin bowling,
Go bungee jumping,
Go on a scary rollercoaster ride,
And rides that defy gravity,
Scream your lungs out,
And enjoy the thrill,
Of being out there and alive,
Even just go on the carousel,
And view people,
Just wandering around,
While eating hotdogs and burgers,
And, of course, candyfloss,
For when it is summer,
You're alive and kicking.

Go aboard airplanes,
And find inspiration,
From viewing the clouds,
And travel on trains and cars,
Mingling with the people,
Of this big, wonderful world.

Watch scary films,
Read books that you don't like,
The cover of, for you can never,
Judge a book by its cover,
Read romances and dream,
Of your own true love,
Read crime and see yourself,
Able to face and survive,
Any evil you may face.

For you're fabulous,
You are truly unique and wonderful;
Don't ever forget it,
And leave others to their own devices,
For you've got soul and class,
And you have the guts to go all out.
