Have Written My Calendar In Ashes Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Have Written My Calendar In Ashes

Rating: 4.5

Have written my calendar in ashes
i think it was last year
it didn't want to be a sonnet
it didn't want to be a verse
or anything of that kind

have written my time still unfulfilled
i think it never mattered when
it didn't want to be measured in moments
it didn't want to be measured in words
to be measured at all

have written my spaces all across the spheres
i think it was in a space unknown
it never wanted to ring about the spheres
it never wanted to toll throughout the circles
it never wanted me
or anyone of my kind

the grids went broken like bridges over ruins
because the ruins won't stand the over bridging
i went through my days though i was never gone
by calendar quanta through a mile or stone
