Have You Ever?
have you ever cried so hard
that you were gasping for air
your chest hurt
and your eyes were sore
have you ever tried so hard
but nobody cared
and you still failed
have you ever been so stressed
you drove youself insane
with all your emotional pain
and then
your tears blur your vision
so you can’t see
you can’t breathe
no words left to speak
just a wet face
full of tears

Yes, I have cried very hard more than once throughout my lifetime. Then, it gets better or worse. Eventually the pieces fall into place, not always as we wish but, that is life.
