He Cares Poem by Erica Buenrostro

No matter how we want things to be,
Their will always be something blocking the road,
It's his way of getting us to see,
He wants us to be a part of his humble aboad,

Those strong shoulders lift us up,
Watch us as we grow,
His love overflowing in that cup,
Even though your not so sure,
He is the one to know,

With all his might,
He gives us sight,
With all of his power,
He gives us the hour,
The time we take,
Is just one more step we make,
To see his holyness,
To feel his lovingness,
I want to feel his lovingness,

We feel trapped,
Cold and scared,
And all he did is snapped,
My children,
Who would even dare.
