He Died There On The Cross Poem by norman hale

He Died There On The Cross

He died there on the cross
What have you done for Him
Have you got on your knees
asked forgiveness for you sins

He died there on the cross
As His blood dripped to the ground
But He did not worry none
For he knew he was Heaven bound

He died there on the cross
To save our mortal souls
To save the likes of me and you
Became His only goal

He died there on the cross
With nails drove in His hands
Right there on calvary hill
He made his final stand

He died there on the cross
So what shall we do in return
Should we praise and worship him?
Or stay forever in hell and just burn

very beautifully written and very true. we all need to realize that he died on the cross for us. we need to repent and we will go to heaven indeed.
