'He' Loves You More Poem by Vyktor Ekott

'He' Loves You More

Believe me, it’s not you, it’s him
He’s just a character in a ghoulish film
It was his scheme, it wasn’t your fault
Don’t give up, don’t put your life to a halt.

Why cry for him, it’s his lose
In this ‘establishment’ girl, you’re the boss
Move on with life, join the next bus
Don’t look back, and please don’t pause.

He doesn’t deserve your love, what’s the fuss?
Walk out of the past, and please shut the doors
Smile out on him, don’t forget your purse
Don’t fight him, you don’t need the claws.

Be glad you’re out, it could have been worse
It’s unfortunate, he’s just lost a nurse
Your life is not subtracted, it’s rather a plus
Though it’s not easy, put him out by force.

For long, he stopped using the word ‘US’
Because it was all about him and all his laws
Every time you sat together just to discuss
It was all about your mistakes and your flaws.

I know a man who can carry your cross
He is the Christ, His name is Jesus
With Him, your love can never be lost
He will substitute blessings for all your curse.
