He Said Poem by Kurt Hearth

He Said

Rating: 5.0

He said 'Walk with Me.' we walked.
Looking back to where we had been.
Desolation now a garden.
Storm and tempest calmed.

He said 'Share with me your faith.'
In His hands I placed my faith.
He gave me courage.
With Him He took my fears.

Unafraid I tread dark paths.
I hesitated not nor stumbled.
His gift of courage
lighted my way.

He said 'Believe in Me.'
I promised Him I would.
Believing in Him
His strength became mine.

'Look through My eyes.' He said.
'I will share with you
the love the beauty the peace
through all eternity.'

I looked through His eyes
and saw everything.
And it was
as He had said.
