*he Said He Loved Me* Poem by Allysyn Bryant

*he Said He Loved Me*

Rating: 3.0

A simple three words
Stole my breath away today
Over the phone he had said them
Even when I heard them a thousand times before
It’s still like the first time…

Gave me butterflies in my tummy
Made me smile a mile wide
Had me forgetting everything,
Except for that moment, nothing else matter, when
He said he love me.

Friends and family alike, ask the same questions.
How could I be so sure that I do?
How could I love someone I hardly know?
I just smile. You don’t love someone based on facts.
You can know everything about a person, every detail of their life
Doesn’t mean that you know them
I know him. No, not every detail, but I know him
And I love him. I will for the rest of my life too.

A beautiful love poem ceremoniously rich in tone, lovely and very passionate. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.

it's true. you don't need to know every single deatail of their life. it doesn't prove whether or not you love them or not. it's like the love you have for your child. you'd love them whether or not they grow up to be a serial killer or a doctor. but you'd still love them nonetheless.
