He Waited Patiently



Lord knows Ive lived my life in sin,
I opened the door and let the devil in.
I have commited crimes and
I have done some time.
But He was there waiting patiently
He waited patiently
He waited just for me
He waited for the day that I would find my way
And as I fell upon my knees
I praised the Lord
for waiting patiently.
