like waves on a teeming shore
all this life

Its suffocating

people

so many souls

bubbling up with joy

echoing sounds of laughter

my brain lost in the chatter

people I know greet me and move on
I push and shove my way to where I need to be

just a store

its only shopping

only
not to me
people
management

too many people for me

I make my way to the darkened store
tailored for people like me
piercings
tattoos

and doc martin shoes
all for people like me
I fade comfortably into the background
I am the buzz behind the loud music
I like it much better this way
bows
belts
and collars
all for people like me
I smiled
little
but there
I swear
