Headlines Poem by Erwick Brandon

Headlines

Rating: 4.0

Today's headline, 'He's claimed another victim.'
No motive, for him he needs no reason.
What did you expect of him?
What did you expect from him?

Who's to blame in a situation like this?
Was it simply in him or do you blame the parents?
Do you have an answer for him?
Does someone have an answer for him?

He feels like he's destined
To a life that's worth less than
A life thats not worth living.

If you have any sense you should all leave now.
He's a sure shot hit that will bring you down.
You will implode.
Stay far away don't get too close.
If you have any sense you should all leave now.
He's a sure shot hit that will bring you down.
Move right along.
It would be best if you just moved on.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
That's a saying that seems appropriate to mention.
What did you expect of him?
What did you expect from him?

I'm sure you have guessed it.
The man waxing poetic,
Is none other than me.

If you have any sense you should all leave now.
I'm a sure shot hit that will bring you down.
You will implode.
Stay far away don't get too close.
If you have any sense you should all leave now.
I'm a sure shot hit that will bring you down.
Move right along.
It would be best if you just moved on.

What if I'm not good enough?
I'm scared that I won't be good enough?
I can't bear the thought of failing you.
I don't how to live without you.
I can't live without you.
