Live wise and healthy
Make it your priority
Not amass to die wealthy
Nor to age despondently
The young waste health
Pursuing lifeless wealth
Excusing health care
Lost in life's fun-fair
Quick Sir Old Age creeps in
Without respect or warning
Forcing your pension spending
To lengthen the days' closing
Sir Old Age comes a-knocking
Loudly knocking, embarrassing
Sir Old Age is not life respecter
Really, Sir Death's tormentor
The Old Thief brings packages
With no special privileges
To drain hard-earned wealth
Mercilessly, smack his wrath
Delivers wrappings of insecurity
To worsen health, darken futurity
He waits to harvest his rewards
Scythe in hand, to pick his spoils:
Insomnia
Senile dementia
Hypertension
Erectile Dysfunction
Prosthesis
Diabetes
Arthritis
Chronic Renal Failure
Congestive Heart Failure
Oedema
Asthma
Incontinence
Drug Resistance
Trappings with no escapes
Depleting funds, with no aid
Children's neglect of aged parents
Caring is seen as, inconvenience
Sunset years are inevitable
Poor health is preventable
Poised on healthy living
Golden years are blessing
