Hear Me
Knocking on the sky
Just an ordinary guy
Trying to get by
Hoping to hear
Your words in my ear
Calming my fear
I find in quiet introspection
Through a thorough self reflection
It's my own insurrection
Keeping you at bay
Not hearing the words I say
The most earnest prayers I pray
I quiet my heart
Take my fears and tear them apart
Confirming my faith I give life a new start
