This is the sound of birth
Hear the laughter
Hear the carefree
Hear the exploration
This is the sound of a child
Hear the yelling
Hear the pain
Hear the struggle
This is the sound of a teenager
Hear the tick of the clock
Hear the pin drop
Hear the humming
This is the sound of solitude
Hear the cries for help
Hear the grinding of chains
Hear the little voice yelling
This is the sound of pain
Hear the blue skies no more
Hear the dirt pile up
Hear the sound of your generation
