Heart Attack Symptoms Poem by Jonathan Strahan

Heart Attack Symptoms

There's a sharp pain that resides in my heart,
threatening my health.
A wealth of emotional security was vested in you.
The pain spreads and my left arm tingles,
missing the caress that i've become accustomed to.
A sign of the coming attack.
The sharp pain shoots from my heart to my back,
the lack
of affection infecting my soul.
Just want to crawl in a hole, not see, not know.
the pain grows and breaths are short,
my face contorts and i clutch my chest.
under my breast my heart lies dying
my love remains locked in your heart while your crying.
someone please call 911
for my heart the ticking time bomb
