Heartache

All defences are low

I'm like a time bomb

That's gonna blow

Don't come near me

I don't wanna know

A self-inflicted

Body blow

There aint no drug

I can take to cure

Heartache

It leaves me

All washed up

Up on the shore...

Oh how well I know...how that time bomb just might blow....but someday we can look back...and know it was not love we lacked...even through the searing pain...it will still be a treasure we have gained...for without love that is lost...we never learn that love has cost
