Heartbreaker Poem by Ivy Rayne

Heartbreaker

You have heard of me,
Never knowing who is next.
Heartbreaker,
The girl they all want.

Yet none can get,
My love does not exist.
My heartless, full lips
Begging to be kissed, yet I do not want to be.

You see me, breaking another heart,
Wondering if you will be next,
The next man to have his cheekbone and face traced
By a delicate, perfect finger.

I come over, smile,
You grin.
I flirt, you melt
Falling, you are the victim of a mass heartbreaker.

We go,
We date.
You, all too soon, learn of your fate.
I kiss, you give me one back.

Next week, you come to school,
Sorrow filling your heart
As you see yet another senior fall.
I am the girl.

The girl known as Heartbreaker.
