Heartbroken
It is a moment to remember
When we started,
It is now pain recounting times
That we have spent,
For destiny has left me brokenhearted
And all my treasures strayed
The day you went.
I see a slice of sunlight
Upon my window sill,
It brightens all around me
But I am lonely still -
And how today I wish I were
Half as gay as you,
Sharing some unspoken lie
With someone new.
