Heaven Eternally My Only True Home Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Heaven Eternally My Only True Home

God is my country
heaven eternally
my only true home
there I shall roam...

there are fools who believe
many fools who believe
'My country, may she always be right.
But my country, right or wrong.'

this specific brand of patriotic thinking
has justified perpetuated fatherland
motherland my homeland my country infamy
crimes superiority sins against humanity

I believe I know God is my country
heaven eternally my only true home
blessed nations were in God founded
by men believing in truth justice for all

blessed nations fruit blessed people
but when nations deny blessed origins
kick God out of all state buildings schools
then time reap gunmen murder blood pool
