Heaven Hasn'T Rang Poem by James Meaney

Heaven Hasn'T Rang

Lay down - this cold ground
Contemplative mind, look up;
So far to climb
Getting to were I fit in
Days of the same
And I'm far beyond to blame
I'm A distance from 'So Far'
I've carried this like an Island
Look too the sky not a single star
This island keeps circles;
No were heaven hasn't rang
But now I'm barley breathing
These lungs have sung for too long
Don't know who I'm kidding
Keeping this tune, Singing this song.
