Heaven’s Just A Prayer Away Poem by Aiden Florence

Heaven’s Just A Prayer Away

Rating: 5.0

Here’s to you and all the mourning,
There’s nothing you can do but lie here crying for facilitation
When the time comes, will anything change
Will the distance between us intensify
To the point we both realize that neither you or I are in control

Where do we each begin to fantasize an ideal paradise
Hoping it’ll be so real one day
Devouring everything going against it,
Not realizing how far away heaven will be

Why do you have to pray, what’s there to believe,
All of this is lies passed down through generations,
You’ll never get closer to heaven this way
Just stop dreaming it’s real, there is no point
All we have to do is dominate each other
You know we’ll feel so good, every time we can see
Us mesmerized in our own cubicle of penitentiary

How did all of this come about,
I just can’t accept this fate but it’s all real I have no choice
Heaven’s blessings are coming for you,
Run and escape before it’s too late.

I can’t seem to stay awake
Was this place always this close, why didn’t I realize
Why are you there, when I’m not even close
I'm slowly beginning to feel Our souls colide to be one
And I don't even know why

I'm in awe. Haha at first when I was reading I was thinking a million other things but as I kept reading my mind just went blank then filled up with your words. All your pieces do this to me. Very great job. Wonderful use of words and such deep meanings. Keep it up and never look down!
