Heavens Opium Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Heavens Opium

lips quiver
yearning to become more
Before fading into the intimacy Of the horizon
A symphony played by the hands
Merely sailing
Waiting to be explored
hesitating
watching true desire errupt in your eyes
not wanting to let go
Of the hiatus spent in your eyes
every moment a gift
frozen
afraid to speak
seeking refuge
through the calm hush
My eyes caress you
finding paradise, with each blink
watching the eclipse Of your stare
the elation that becomes whispers
escaping into the oasis
of yearning to become more
Mere echos
The private joy
Thats shared once the moon
Cuts the sun out
blinded
By the cryptic fires
That roar beyond Comprehension
forever becomes you
we ourselves become the seconds
lullabys that welcome us further
into each others dreams
fountains that cannot wait to overflow in full
a dream i hope never to end
