Heavy Metal Poem by Tom Billsborough

Heavy Metal

Silence is golden
Said the Brass to the Copper.
He Lead her away.

That's how she met AL
Yes, he clapped her in irons.
Handcuffed together.

Down at the station;
"Got her, Sarg." "Good NICK AL, "
His sergeant replied.

To STEAL her revenge
Dressed in SILVER, she clapped him
In marriage later.

Clever and fun write...though the topic is a bit heavy.

Must have been weighed down with all these chains. Now she's gone and lost the key again! I ask you! Tom

I think one of our Masters used this phrase more in hope than expectation. Bit like a red rags to a herd of bulls, the heavy metal variety!
